As part of the Upper Altamaha Practicum, graduate students Sofia Arce-Flores, Caroline McFarlin, Sara Pilzer, and Stacey Vigil, with assistance from faculty of the University of Georgia River Basin Center, Institute of Ecology, Department of Marine Sciences, Warnell School of Forest Resources, and College of Education, created a middle school educational curriculum about watersheds that meets the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) for 7th grade Life Sciences. The curriculum is formatted for printing. They also created an educational poster for use in classrooms.
