Athens, Georgia Focus the Nation is part of a national movement to coordinate teach-ins across the country on solutions to climate change, to be held on January 31, 2008.

Events at UGA will include panel discussions; an art exhibition; dance performances; music; an address by Janisse Ray, author of Ecology of a Cracker Childhood; and the annual UGA Charter Lecture "Changing Climate: Where Energy and Global Warming Meet" by Dennis Dimick, Executive Editor of National Geographic Magazine.
